Unlikely Sunday
Every Sunday, during my morning cafecito (or yerba mate), I’ll share three powerful ideas transforming culture. Some ideas will be ads or about advertising. Some may be about design or fashion. Others will be about art, illustration, animation, motion, audio, cinema, books, or any other big idea worth sharing and discussing. You get the idea.
TL;DR
a. I will share 3 big ideas
b. Cause I care about powerful ideas
c. And you should too, so please subscribe
Idea 1. AI: the good and the bad
The way we use AI now will shape the future of our industry. These two examples illustrate vastly different ways AI can creatively enhance or diminish value in ideas, strategies, and production. While budgets may pose significant challenges, I believe CocaCola shouldn’t be the brand blaming budget as the reason behind using AI. We are seeing a monumental transformation, and it is up to brands, agencies, and creative leaders to determine the course. Hold on, it will be a bumpy ride.
Idea 2. Louis Vuitton 5TH AV
This has to be the best OOH of the year or the most fashionable scaffolding in the world.
Louis Vuitton has turned its location on 5th Avenue in New York City into a pack of huge travel trunks.

Idea 3. The Boy & The Octopus
A Christmas ad that checks all the boxes of a Disney movie.
Hero
Journey
Villain or tribulation
An orphan
Unexpected friendship
The reveal
Conclusion
The only template that you’ll need.
Once upon a time _______. Every day _______. But one day_____ because of that ______ because of that _____ because of that _____ until finally ______. And ever since then __________.
Also, having Taika Waititi as director, and a solid script/concept by London-based agency Adam&eveDDB couldn’t hurt right? 😂
