Every Sunday, during my morning coffee (or matcha), I’ll share three incredible, mesmerizing, and powerful ideas changing the world and culture. Some ideas will be ads or about advertising. Some may be about fashion. Others will be about design, art, illustrations, animations, motion, audio, movies, or any other idea worth sharing and discussing. You get the idea.

Idea 1. Check in on those around you
Norwich City Football, the Canaries, yes, that same EFL Norwich City, a soccer team, did my favorite ad of the year. Powerful stuff about mental health that proves great ideas can come from anywhere when audience, message, and insight come together in a profound way – also an unexpected twist, moment of tension, and reveal. #YouAreNotAlone
Idea 2. Life is not a catalog by Ikea
Ikea is always top 3 of the year. Solid idea, campaign, and execution. The acting and product placement are excellent. Pee (below) has to be my favorite.
Idea 3. GoPro
Maybe not an ad per se, ok I know. But for a tech gear company, doing this every year is a great content idea, one that crosses the line of branding and UGC. Kudos to GoPro for keeping their community, creators, and users excited and engaged after 12 iterations of the exact same thing.
