Idea 1. Equinox doesn’t do January

Collins, led by design maestro and personal favorite marketer Brian Collins, launched an insanely viral & great January idea for gym chain Equinox. Not everyone is happy. But also, it keeps the gyms easy for their customers, not the January ones, though. Give your audience what they need, not what you think they want, for January, a good challenge.

Idea 2. Chipotle knows its audience, maybe too well

I run, at least I try to. But also I’m a big fan of gringo Mexican chain, Chipotle, and its simple, good food. When two things you are passionate about combine this well (running and asada bowls), for many like me, you feel Chipotle understands exactly what you need, want, and aspire to – this is marketing gold. Also, look at the NYC map for this Strave Challenge. Genius.

Idea 3. TyC Sports Celebrate the WC Anniversary

This 2-star hotel named La Argentina gets its third star, to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Argentina winning the World Cup. This is what a Cannes Grand Prix looks like. And also, they are still drunk.
