Every Sunday, during my morning maple & oat flat white, I’ll share three powerful ideas transforming culture. You get the idea.
IDEA 1: OK Go
In an era of AI shortcuts and infinite post-production possibilities, this band keeps proving that real craft and imagination can still break the internet. Robots, mirrors, kaleidoscopic choreography, one continuous take, zero CGI. It's not a music video, it's an engineering flex disguised as art. The band has built a brand on "impossible executed flawlessly" (which I like as a slogan), and this one raises the bar even higher. I'm so jealous because on top of everything, the music is great. Love A+
IDEA 2: Affinity Rebranding

Since 2014, Affinity has been the rebel alternative to Adobe's empire. Now, they've launched a radical rebrand—built entirely in their own tools—that screams creative freedom. It's a middle finger to predatory subscriptions, wrapped in sharp design. If you can set your ego aside and ignore that it's part of Canva, you just might enjoy it as much as the rest who've already switched.

IDEA 3: Apple’s Holiday Spirit
Woodland critters find a lost iPhone 17 Pro, film themselves singing a song of friendship (inspired by Flight of the Conchords), and return it. Need to say more? I see the GP. A+

From Antes de que llegue el Brief (ADQLEB) Podcast
On the latest episode, I sat down with Dr. Javier Hernández —dean, entrepreneur, author, and percussionist—to unpack how ideas become market‑proof and how to lead the next generation of cultural innovators from his seat as dean of the School of Arts, Design, and Creative Industries at Sagrado.
