Every Sunday, during my morning TJ’s cafecito, I’ll share three powerful ideas transforming culture. Some ideas will be ads or about advertising. Some may be about design or fashion. Others will be about art, illustration, animation, motion, audio, cinema, books, or any other big idea worth sharing and discussing. You get the idea.
IDEA 1: Fred & Thomas (the robot)
Long-form content isn’t dead. Long-form with emotional permission and credibility (rare, historic, communal) works damn well. Enjoy the show.
IDEA 2: Como 1907
Como isn’t trying to “win matches” as the full strategy (also, they are) — they’re trying to turn the club into a destination product, and it’s working. Como, is a world people want to enter, while creating multiple revenue streams beyond the core product. Sports is the next experience design for brands. The playbook is as clear as they lake itself.

IDEA 3: Presidente Strike Zone
This is culture-jacking done right — not opportunistic, but authentic identity alignment. After a controversial strike-three call ended the DR’s World Baseball Classic semifinal vs USA (duh!), Presidente turned the moment into a can design: strike zone outline, pitch landing low, and the line “Our pride never strikes out.” 10/10
